Ways to get leads via SEO, Paid search and local SEO

08:30

There are three ways to get leads for your company. You can get them through organic search, paid search and local SEO. Organic leads occur when someone finds your site after typing in keywords into a search engine. Paid search and local SEO methods combine organic SEO with paid advertisements that get the word out about your site.

Why Is Organic Traffic Important?

Anytime that your company receives a lead through organic means, it is a major coup for the business. This is because the company has potentially earned a new customer without having to pay for that lead. By getting leads for free, it drastically reduces the amount of money spent on marketing efforts. When marketing costs are reduced, it allows the company to make a higher profit margin from each purchase that this new customer makes.

Why Is Paid Search Important?

Paid search is important because any type of traffic can good for the SEO value of your page. When Google and the other search engines see that your site is getting steady traffic, it will see your site as more of an authority. This means that your site will be pushed up the search results. As this happens, you increase the odds of getting more organic traffic to your site or to a specific sales or landing page.

Why Is Local SEO Important?

Local SEO matters because the majority of your customers are going to come from within your community. Depending on your profession, you may only be targeting people within your geographical area. For example, someone searching for a lawyer is going to look for someone nearby. The same is true for those who are looking for a dentist or a tutor to help their kids with math homework. By seeking help from a local SEO services company, it may be easier to create a site that is found through both paid and organic means.

It is important for any company that markets on the Internet to use a mix of paid and organic efforts to increase traffic and find new leads. As new leads flow in, it increases the odds that a business will increase revenue that will lead to higher share prices and larger salaries for executives within the company.
