iPhone 5 is going to be the next flag-ship device of Apple’s this year. It was already rumored numbers of time to coming before its expected time, and the last year we had lotted of buzz from the rumor mills which suggest the device coming in 2011, but Apple decided to seed the world with iPhone 4S in 2011, and takes out the iPhone 5 for the 2012. Now once again, the days are on their period with the couple of reports from different sources claiming about the iPhone 5 launch date, and its specifications.

iPhone 5 Specifications:

iPhone 5 Specifications

I am starting from its specifications, and general information that I have collected during my stay with different sources in the Apple Supply chain. Undoubtedly, iPhone 5 is coming this year in the fall, but maybe Apple name it as “The New iPhone” as the company wants itself to be unpredictable soon with more devices launch and production. Apple is not only known for its product; it is also known for its tight lips over the upcoming devices. It becomes really hard for someone to acquire some inside news on the media. However, the iPhone 5 is reported to be carrying a 4-inch display screen along with in-cell technology to make the upcoming phone profile slimmer than its predecessor.

The device will also feature the NFC technology, and according to Apple’s patent, they are not only making NFC for the wallet applications, they do have some plans to control the home and office products with just an iPhone, in short you can say that iPhone 5 will be used as remote for the upcoming Apple iTV. It will feature the 1 GB of RAM, and A6-Quad Core processor to provide a powerful platform of development to the iOS apps developers.

iPhone 5 Launch:

Most recently, it has been reported that many big sources have confirmed the iPhone 5 launch will happen in the second week of September, and will follow the release of the device in the fourth week of September. However, few sources have claimed that Apple is currently facing issues with the production of in-cell technology for the next-generation iPhone 5, and this will may affect the iPhone 5 release in the market. However, still, the device will be launched in September on a media event hosted by Apple.

Apple is now expected to launch the iPhone 5 on a media event in the first week of September, and there are also words that Cupertino Company will release the iPad Mini too on the same event.

  6. Hi Hamza,
The iPhone 5 looks sleek and powerful and the fact that it has gotten a bigger screen size means it can help texting faster for those with big hands. Add to the fact that the unit is also lighter than many of its competition means you won’t easily get sore when surfing or texting with it using one hand.
