Penguin Hits? Know How I am Trying to recover from Penguin Penalty

Recently on 26^th June when another penguin algorithm update takes place. Like many of the webmasters and bloggers my site also affected by this update. And the damage was not negligible. My site traffic decreases from 12000 page views to 3000 page views per day . Many of the keywords on which my website was standing on the first page of Google search. Now was nowhere even in first 1000 competitors of that keyword search. It was huge ranking drop.

Google algorithm updates are curse for a website because they destroy even a legimate and trusted websites ranking.

After facing the attack I became very disappointed. My site ranking was improving day by day and I was not expecting any hurdle because I was not trying any shortcuts to take advantage in SERP’s

But no vain my website effected by this update and I am doing following things to get my site back to his original position

Content Rechecking

After waiting 3 days I analyses my site current position and deleted some articles which seems to me of poor quality and out dated. Then immediately wrote some new articles on trending topics and scheduled them to be published on regular basis and on same time daily.

Alternate Traffic Arrangement

Before the penguin penalty my major traffic was organic. It was a huge drop fall of visiters. So the arrangement of alternate traffic source was necessary Because less traffic means low revenue. Instead of purchasing advertisement on blogs on monthly basis. I took the challenge to recover the all lost by myself hard work.

First I stumled my website home page and some posts through various accounts. Because Stumble upon always give me instant and free traffic. Then I retweeted my website and also become active on my Facebook page to increase the number of talking about people. Facebook also proves to be a good source of instant traffic. I got decent amount of traffic from stumble upon and Facebook after becoming again active on these two social networking websites.

Sent Bulk Emails:

Yes I sent emails in bulk amount. First I sent emails to my loyal readers and subscribers with links of my posts on which I want to get instant traffic. And I also having around 4500+ emails database which I collected myself over the internet. Sending emails also give me a good response and it also ensures me that my emails database is active and not useless and I can utilize it at any time

Backlinking

 Then I started making some new backlinks for my site. But this time I wisely selected websites to comment on. I am creating 50 high quality backlinks per day.

 Created thread on forums 

This is the best thing I done. I placed the url of my site within the thread and asked for suggestions from forums regular members. They visited my site and gave their suggestions. Though their suggestions was not much helpful but some of points they told give me some new ideasand also bring me some new visiters.

Guest Posting

It is also a part of increasing backlinks but my main purpose behind this was to attract some loyal readers from that blog.
